Dr. KyoungOk Kim is an Associate Professor in Department of Advanced Textile and Kansei Engineering, Faculty of Textile Science and Technology, Shinshu University and Division of Fashion and Smart textile, Institute for Fiber Engineering (IFES), Interdisciplinary Cluster for Cutting Edge Research (ICCER), Shinshu University, Japan. She received her Ph.D. from Shinshu University in Textile Engineering. Her research interests are clothing engineering, textile engineering, and kansei engineering for both apparel and textile fields.

Dr. Zeku Liu received his Ph.D. degree at Department of Materials, The University of Manchester in 2022. He is now working as a Research Associate at Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences, University of Oxford. His research focuses on silk fibroin-based biomaterials for implantable prostheses, and functional materials for wearable strain, pressure and humidity sensors, as well as flexible and implantable electronics in a humanoid soft bioreactor for tissue engineering. He published several peer-reviewed journal papers in Advanced Functional Materials, Nano Energy, Nano-Micro Letters, Bioactive Materials, Chemical Engineering Journal and ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, etc. His research interests include nanomaterials and functionalized materials for the development of advanced composites, functional clothes, biomedical devices, and flexible electronics such as sensors, batteries, solar cells, and generators.

Dr. Xuyuan Tao was born in 1981 at Shanghai in China. He obtained his Ph.D. in 2010 at the Lille University of Science and Technology in France, in the field of the Automation. Since September in 2011 he works as associate professor at ENSAIT (Textile Engineering Institute in Roubaix, France) in the HCD (Human Centred Design) research group in GEMTEX laboratory.Dr. Xuyuan Tao has extensively involved in the research of multifunctional and intelligent textiles, flexible sensors & actuators, smart textile structures, human-machine interface and virtual textile. His current interests lie the areas of smart textile, wearable textile and machine learning in textile fields.He has participated a number of European Framework collaborative projects and French national funded projects. He has authored and co-authored over 40 scientific publications (SCI), and book chapters. He is also the invited reviewer of several international SCI indexed scientific journals.

Dr. Mohanapriya Venkataraman is a passionate Textile material scientist who holds a Ph.D and multiple post-graduations in Textile Material Engineering, Fashion Technology and Garment Manufacturing Technology. She is working as Assistant Professor at the Department of Material Engineering, Faculty of Textile Engineering in Technical University of Liberec, Czech Republic. She is also a leading Researcher in Smart Materials, Thermodynamic Analysis, Micro and Nanoporous materials, Heat Transfer, Polymers and Composites in more than 10 research projects funded by Government agencies and Industry. She has authored about 100 publications in peer-reviewed journals, more than 90 conference papers, more than 25 book chapters and 2 books, and has peer-reviewed more than 50 articles. She is very passionate about woman empowerment and sustainability. She lives in Prague with her technocrat husband and two boys.
Long Wu Wu

Dr. Long Wu obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2013. He is currently serving as an associate professor in the School of Apparel and Art Design of Xi’an Poly-technic University. He teaches subjects about Apparel Production Technique, Apparel Machinery, An-thropometric Technology and Application, etc. As the main participant of the National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2013 (61303120), Dr. Wu carried out research work in Shaanxi Union Research Center of University and Enterprise for Ap-parel Intelligent Design and Manufacturing. Over the last several years, he received an outstanding stu-dent papers competition award in TBIS 2011 and an outstanding research papers competition award in TBIS 2014. Also, Dr. Wu was a member of the expert committees of the Garment Industry Association in Shaanxi Province between 2016 and 2019. Funded by China Scholarship Council in 2019, Dr. WU became a visiting scholar in the School of Fashion and Textiles at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia from October 2019 to May 2020. In 2021, he was appointed the vice director of the Garment Customi-zation Committee of China National Garment Association (CNGA).

Dr. Chunhong Zhu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Advanced Textile and Kansei Engineering, Faculty of Textile Science and Technology, Shinshu University, Japan. She obtained her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Soochow University majored in Textile Materials and Design in 2007 and 2010. After that, she received her Ph.D. from Shinshu University in 2014. From 2014 to 2015, she worked as a R&D in a Japanese company and returned to Shinshu University in 2015.Her research interests include three-dimensional fabrics, functional and smart textiles. She has published more than 50 papers in SCI journals. She also has been granted 2 Japanese patents. As a principal investigator, she hosted (is hosting) 5 projects, including 3 JSPS KAKENHI projects and others from Japanese foundations. She also participated (is participating) several JSPS KAKENHI projects. She is now the editor of Sen’i Gakkaishi (Journal of The Society of Fiber Science and Technology, Japan) and the Japanese Society of Silk Science and Technology
